Customer Listing Review w/ Video

A done-for-you service where we'll run some video surveys (to a group that represents your target market) and give you a summary of the findings.

Here's an outline of the steps that we'll take:

• Create a screener survey so that we only receive feedback from people you care about.
  • Basic demographic stuff: age, gender, income, education, marital status (this mirrors the data Amazon provides in Brand Analytics).
  • Can also drill down to those who are active/sophisticated buyers: ie. have Prime, purchase something on Amazon a few times each month.
  • Most importantly, also capture people's affinity with your niche. ex: love cooking, cook dinner at home >3 times a week, often use garlic in their recipes, owns a garlic press etc. Also, they provide an intelligent answer to an open ended question, like "What are the most important product features you would look for when buying a garlic press?"
• We'll run a video based survey with 6 users. Each video will be ~5 minutes. We'll get them to consider and talk out loud the following:
  • A scan through the search results – pick out their favorite in 5 seconds. Explain why, and what they think of other options.
  • Explain what product features/solutions they'll be looking for when arriving on the listing.
  • Let them spend a few minutes on your listing and a competitor's (blind to which is yours) and let them explain what they like/dislike, and which they'd pick + why.
  • What hesitations they still might have before making a purchase.
• You'll be provided with all the raw videos. Here's an example.
• Plus, a document that summarises all the learnings from the videos + highlight the top 3 action items for you to work on straight away.

Expectation setting: We've done this for our own products. Some users aren't very insightful and there can be a some 'fluff'. But it's very possible to get a nugget or two, plus some general insight into how people think about your listing.
